there's a part in Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War by Clive Barker where the ghost of the Comfort Tree Hotel enscribes "HIGHER GROUND" into the wall of his room in attempt to warn people to get to higher grounds before the Sea of Izabella consumes Chicken Town, USA. this is a tribute to the surreal world of Abarat and Clive Barker's genius.
