Subject: just a blur
The main form of transporation in New York City, next to the subway, is walking. And fast. You can always tell the different between Tourists and Inhabitants by the way they walk. Inhabitants of Manhattan walk quickly through the streets, avoid eye contact, and ignore the WALK / DON'T WALK signals. Tourists have their heads up facing the sky as they register the tall buildings and get very nervous when they cross the street. I don't have legs to walk with, therefore; I'm neither.
